One Week Back In The States!
After departing from Guatemala, we had a week back at home in the United States before our departure to Fiji and beyond.
Nine or Eleven Days Off Before Guatemala!
Following our whirlwind three months driving around the U.S., we returned home for my dad’s wedding and some rest before our flight to Guatemala. Of course, we weren’t counting on our initial flight being canceled.

Making Our Way Back To Vegas!
We ended our three month road trip around the U.S. and Canada with Six Flags Discovery Kingdom in Vallejo, a visit to Fisherman’s Wharf in San Francisco and a wonderful drive through Yosemite National Park.

Trains, Elephants & Witches In Portland!
Portland sure lives up to its reputation as the city of roses. Combine that with a wonderful Chinatown, the atmosphere of a streetcar line and of course their wonderful zoo and this is one fantastic city.
It’s So Hard To Say Goodbye!
We made the long drive south from my cousin’s home in Vancouver, BC to Portland, Oregon with a brief stop to see a movie in Seattle.
Reconnecting With Family North of the Border
Arriving in Vancouver was great, but reconnecting with my cousin was even better. We were so lucky to have him show us around the city.

Come join us in Spokane for a cable car ride over the falls and a visit to what is left of the 1974 World’s Fair Expo in Riverfront Park.
Visiting An American Icon!
Although Yellowstone has a lofty reputation, we were not disappointed in what the park had to offer. With abundant wildlife, geysers, lakes and hot springs we saw a little of everything and quickly fell in love.
